Nyambe Classes

Gamba Fighter

In other lands, fighters are generals, knights, and professional soldiers. In Nyambe, however, the gamba (GAHM-bah) fighters are not the leaders of armies, they are the armies. When a village is attacked, it is up to a select few to defend it. Some gamba take this further and act as the personal defenders of the realms and nations of Nyambe-tanda.
Gamba fighters are identical to fighters in the Players Handbook except for the following changes.
Bonus to Defense: +2 Reflex
Class Features: Combat Superiority, Gamba Challenge, Fighter Weapon Talent

  • Gamba Challenge: This power functions like the fighter class feature Combat Challenge except for the following: marked do not take a penalty to attack for attacks which do not include you as a target. Instead, when marked targets make an attack that does not include you as a target, you may shift a number of squares equal to your Constitution modifier (minimum 1 square).

N'anga Cleric

The n'anga (n-AHN-gah) are devoted servants to the orisha, lifetime worshipers who aid other folk in their sacrifices and in keeping the orisha's laws. N'anga preform public rituals for births, marriages, and funerals as well as traveling the lands to defeat threats to the orisha's loyal subjects.
N'anga clerics are identical to clerics found in the Players Handbook except for the following changes.
Implements: N'anga clerics use nkisi, small figurines of the orisha, instead of holy symbols as implements. Generally, any magical holy symbols can be made in the form of nkisi as well. Northern clerics' holy symbols are unusuable to followers of the orisha, however, just as nkisi are useless to servants of the strange northern gods.
